For me, this is a good proposal. Change the title of the subject so that there will be better understanding for all people. Hopefully after that, the syllabus and so forth will also be much greater. God bless good educator:)

Still remember him? I bet if you follow the Malaysian football scenes from the mid 80s to 2005. He is one of the best South East Asia goalkeeper and in my opinion, the best goalkeeper in Malaysia of all time. A living legend of him, he is now suffering from his old injury and currently it get worst. He needs a surgery for both of his knees which will cost him around RM16,000.

THE Tourism Ministry has offered to pay former Ferrari Formula One team boss Datuk Seri Jean Todt RM1 million to serve as the country's tourism ambassador.

And yesterday, Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Ng Yen Yen defended the sum involved following criticism in the Dewan Rakyat by Parti Keadilan Rakyat member of parliament for Gombak, Azmin Ali.

She said since Todt, who was appointed last month, was serving and promoting the country on a voluntary basis, it was only fair that the government covered his expenses.

Report to be lodged with MACC over President’s Cup match-fixing claims

THE Football Association of Malaysia will lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) next week that bookies have approached the President’s Cup players to fix matches.

FAM general secretary Datuk Azzudin Ahmad confirmed that officials would meet representatives of the MACC after the FA Cup final between Selangor and Kelantan at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday.

“We will lodge the report with the MACC after the FA Cup final. I admit it is impossible to eradicate this problem.

The bookies are very smooth.

“But we need to send a strong signal to the players, officials and bookmakers.” Azzudin said FAM’s decision was prompted largely by the Malay Mail probe into the scandal.

OMG, they were mad, really really mad. I don't know exactly what cause of the riot, but as I watched the news on Sportscenter Asia a while ago, that the Kelantan goalkeeper Halim Napi had an argument with Negri Sembilan's player, Aidil Zaquan (if i'm not mistaken) after the match ended with 1-0 to Negri Sembilan. The other players between the two teams were also involved after that. And the picture is actually the police Range Rover which were burnt by the Kelantan fans outside the stadium after the match.

LAHAD DATU: Police have arrested 12 people including a man who claimed to be a descendent of the Sultan of Sulu, for burning our State flags yesterday.

District police chief Supt Md Suhaimi Abdul Rahman said at about 8.40am, police received information that a group of men had burned six Sabah flags in front of the town’s market and a supermarket.

He said some of the men were also seen carrying yellow flags with a red insignia of a lion on them.

By the time police reached the scene, the men fled and the State flags were found burnt.

Kota Kinabalu: A total of RM150 million has been spent to develop Malaysia's first remote-sensing satellite, RazakSAT, which will also be the world's first satellite to orbit along the equatorial line at an altitude of 685km.

It is sad but true that Chong Wei has always lost in major competition to who else but Lin Dan. Both of them currently had met 16 times and the score was 11 wins for Lin Dan against 5 for Chong Wei after the recent concluded of Swiss Open 2009 in which Chong Wei won the title after beating Lin Dan at the final.

For me, both of them have the same level of skills but the determination and mental toughness that differentiate between them. Lin Dan has more energetic and determination to win major tournaments. The same goes with Chong Wei with his great skills and stamina but always being unlucky when it comes to major tournament. So my suggestion is, better ask the best sport psychologist to help him out. He has won his 29th winner's medal (and hopefully more to come..) following his appearance as a sub from Carling Cup Final 2009 recently against Tottenham Hotspurs. Although his age are catching up, he still believe and had prove he still have those skills and out going attitude as the same as he was 20 years back then when he made his debut with Man United. His loyalty, passion and love of football is remarkable and shows his leadership. The British government should award him "Sir" ehehe. A living legend indeed. Glory! Glory! Man United!

Beckham snubs AC Milan to join Man United back?

Hehe. Sorry about the title but I just want to share with you this photo when David Beckham (AC Milan, LA Galaxy, Real Madrid, Man United, England) met Sir Alex Ferguson during Man United's training session at San Siro, Italy.

Well, hope both of them had patch up after the incident that happens in season 2002/2003 in which led to Beckham being transfered to Real Madrid. It's nice to see when your ex-player gives support and courage to its old team whenever they are playing too.

As the transfer of Beckham from LA Galaxy to AC Milan permanently still in doubts, well I surely hope it will happens after his loan deal expires on 8 Mac 2009. Because I believe, Beckham will only play its best when his playing teammates are best too.

Ministry rescinds gazette

Kota Kinabalu: The Federal Government has decided to revoke its decision to allow the word "Allah" in documents and publications relating to Christianity.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar on Saturday said the prohibition on its usage would now remain in effect until the court has made a judicial review on it.

He said the Government gazette allowing documents and publications relating to Christianity to contain the word "Allah" if the words "FOR CHRISTIANITY" are written on their front covers would be revoked tomorrow (Monday).

Syed Hamid admitted there were some mistakes in the formulation of the gazette under the Internal Security (Prohibition on use of specific words on Document and Publication) Order 2009.

"I admit there is some mistake in the formulation (as it basically) states "are allowed" while, in fact, there is a prohibition," he told reporters in a Press conference at Pacific Sutera Hotel, here.

He said upon further checking, they found the mistake which had to be rectified to avoid confusion.

Syed Hamid said furthermore, the prohibition had been challenged by The Catholic Herald in court and later joined in by other organisations.

"So the Government will not want to pre-empt the court's decision," he said, adding that it was also not the intention of the Government to suppress any other religion but "it is to prevent creating confusion".

Apart from the word "Allah", also prohibited are the words "Kaabah", Baitullah" and "solat".

The Publications and Quranic Text Control Division secretary of the Home Ministry, Che Din Yusoh, on Friday announced the gazette dated Feb 16, following a decision by the Home Minister.

"Allah" in Christian publications is not prohibited, court told

The High Court here was told today that the use of the word "Allah" in publications relating to Christianity is no longer prohibited due a new order gazetted by the Home Minister early this year.

Senior federal counsel Nizam Zakaria, for the Attorney-General''s Chambers, informed the court that the Home Minister, as the first respondent in the judicial review proceeding initiated by the Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, had gazetted the order dated Jan 21, 2009, entitled ‘Internal Security (Prohibition On Use of Specific Words on Document and Publication)Order 2009''.

The gazette says: ‘The printing, publishing, sale, issue, circulation and possession of any document and publication relating to Christianity containing the words Allah, Kaabah, Baitullah and Solat are prohibited unless on the front cover of the document and publication are written with the words ''FOR CHRISTIANITY".
